Scared To Put Yourself Out There

i one of those people who is scared to put them self out there to find a girl or friends. I fell that I am scared of getting shut down or reject by women. I have been shut down many times or when I do ask a girl out they thing that maybe I’m joking or something. what are some tips or trick to get over this please feel free to leave you thoughts below in the comments
